When you look at disposable items you buy every week, there is a lot of money to save!

Packages. Plastic wrap. Plastic bags.

When you throw that in the trash, you lose some money…

Having said that, the less you throw away, the more you save money…

Let me give you some examples…

1/ Swiffer

Swiffer is such a waste of time and money. Instead, Pick up a PVA mop ($15) and just use it with a mix of a half gallon of hot water to one half cup of white vinegar. You will clean your place easily and save so much money!!!

Don’t forget that swiffer pads are really expensive: like 36 for $30. That’s not for us…

2/ Paper towels

What’s the point of using paper towel? Use cloths instead and you will just need to wash it from time to time and you will not see the difference!

3/ AA batteries

Use recharchable batteries. If you follow the guidelines, you will save a lot of money and you will save the environment (2 for the price of 1)!

4/ Kleenexes

Well I actually prefer my tissues from my grandpa. They look old but again you save money and you protect the environment…. What else?

Bottom line? You can save money and protect the environment at the same time… What else can you do? Just enjoy the money you have just saved and feel excited that you have saved the environment a little bit!

Linkwortk offers many opportunities to make money and make sure that your posts are monetized. There are different ways to do that: you can make money by creating a specific post for an advertiser or you can make money through links.

It’s a very good service and they pay you quickly (usually ten days after the end of the month…)

2/ Text Link Ads

Text Link Ads is a very comprehensive service. You put your website in a directory that has to be approved and then you make money on a monthly basis. They send you money at the end of the month with Paypal. Usually, you make really good money. It’s a great service!

3/ Intellilinks

Intellilinks is a new service but it’s quite comprehensive. You need wordpress to make it work and then you just need to install a plugin on your wordpress blog. You get paid at the end of the month through paypal.

4/ Digital Point

Digital Point offers a forum where you can buy and sell ads for your blog. It’s quite comprehensive but messy. However, there are many opportunities out there!

5/ Pay per post

Pay per post is a great service to get paid when you write reviews for advertiser. This is probably the leader in this service. However, it might impact the quality of your blog and your Google page rank.

Extended Warranty is just a way to make you pay more money. They are useless. Don’t spend money on this.

5/ Rebates are useful

Never forget to apply for rebates. It’s a great way to save money even if it is painful to spend some time sending back your ticket and fill some form. Time is money!

3. Everything has a price. Sell old stuff that you have in your closet: clothes, shoes, accessories,… At the end of the day, it could be a lot of money!

4. Carpool. It’s better for the environment and it’s better for your pocket!

5. Be careful with credit. Even if you have a lot of credit cards with high limits, it’s gonna cost you a lot of interest expenses at the end of the month!

6. Public Transportation. It is way more cheaper to use public transportation than to buy your own gas. And it’s better for the environment!

7. Forget Netflix. You can find a lot of movies on tv without paying for Netflix. You save $120/year!

8. 14. How Green is Your Garden? – Start a garden with tomatoes, onions, and fresh herbs. Even if you don’t have a yard, you can still grow these items on a balcony or window sill.

9. Use Secured Credit Card. The money you use is the money you have. It’s a good philosophy!

10. Save For the bad times. You may have to face some bad times. Then, put some money aside as it could be useful!
