no way! those are NOT the most dangerous sports! 1st of all cheerleading and gymnastics are the most dangerous sports! In those you have just listed i have played most of them and they aren’t very dangerous! The 2nd most dangerous sport is figure skating! In cheerleading and gymnastics you can break anything so very easily and in figure skating the same! We have no protection but in basketball you have guards, football you have gear, in baseball protection for head and hands same with softball, volleyball you have guards. This is ridiculous! In all these sports like football, hockey, basketball, soccer, and etc. People get hurt because they get aggressive when they don’t have to be and hurt others. And that is the ONLY reason they get hurt. In all those sports you just have to dodge another person and that is it! But instead people decide oh lets punch them! This is so ridiculous! All these sports like cheer. gym. and figure skating we have the hardest moves and the most dangerous techniques and we never get any recognition! We are sick and tired of it!

Yes, Jenny you are right everyone forgets skating in this, it has the same risk of injuries than gymnastics and cheerleading, but they dont consider it as a sport, they think its easy, its efortless, but well put a pair of skates and try :) you’ll see its not easy at all and it is more of a sport than much others, and roller skating is a sport too:)

im sick and tierd of hearing every girl i meet saying cheerleading is the most dangerous…ITS NOT, get tht through ur head, u never hear “ya this girl died from cheerleading” but u always her “this person died from bull riding, mountin climbing” so on so forth, and ya u get no “protection” in cheerleading but u have bases to catch a flyer and some sort of padding you land on.
Now cheerleading to lacrosse. LACROSSE IS MORE DANGEROUS! ok u can drop me from 35 feet onto a pad, then ill line u up infront of me and ill wip a 2pound ball of pure rubber and u goin 70-90MPH and we can see what hurts more…

Ok so rugby isn’t even on this list. I play it and have broken more bones than i can count. During the season my teammates basically live in the hospital with concusions, torn muscles, broken bones, bloody faces, popped joints, and so on. So that should be one of the top somewhere. There is no protection or pads of any kind. only cleats and a mouth guard. It is a great sport to play but is definaitly one of the most dangerous.
